| An international leader in process equipment, material handling products, mining hose, and a line of moulded and fabricated products, are looking for a Product Sales Manager to develop process valve sales in oil & gas sector. Based- Mainland Europe ideally Holland, Germany, Belgium etc, or prepared to relocate there.
The successful candidate will have an European Sales background in Valves or related technology i.e. seals, pumps etc into the Oil & Gas sector, with language skills in French or German.
Job Purpose
To identify and understand key customer needs, identify new customers, product and marketing opportunities, strategic planning, competitor positioning, providing specialist technical support an supporting brand development in Western Eastern Europe, and Scandinavia. Key Responsibilities
Aid the successful launch of a new range of process valves into Europe.
Working with sales managers to identify suitable sales companies, to join our increasing distributor network including management of some direct sales through key accounts.
Manage distributor training to ensure key customer needs are met.
Provide technical and engineering support to our distributors
Work with distributors to translate customer's requirements, quantities, demand, potential sales growth, proposals, target market penetration
Liaise with Engineering and Customer Support Desk in UK
Work with UK based Marketing team to develop promotional material and brand identity, and to research key distributors in new industrial and geographical markets.
Implement marketing plans with the external sales group, and liaise closely with in-house sales to promote products and services in line with the plan
Involvement in the service and after-sales side of the business
International travel will be required to deal directly with key accounts, distributors and their customers including site visits, giving technical advice, trouble shooting, diagnosing technical problems etc.
